… I say simplicity.. that is, replacing the truss-rod cover plate (the one with ‘Standard’ etched into it) with the more traditional all black one.

I love the mother-of-pearl Gibson logo, I love the Les Paul ‘signature’, and, to be fair the cover with Standard on looks nice. However.. truss-rod cover off…

And a very quick mod requiring literally two screws taking out and whipping the plain black cover (that came with the guitar from the Gibson factory), and there you have it..
