Hi, I’m Kevin Burke. I’m an RGT@LCM registered, fully DBS checked guitar tutor based in Hawk Green, Marple, Stockport. I offer professional guitar tuition, both privately and in schools, teaching electric and acoustic guitar, all styles and all levels of ability from absolute beginner to advanced diploma level students.

Being a practicing musician, songwriter and producer I think it is key that instruments are taught in a fully musical context. From day one students are encouraged to be musicians and to develop skills that will enable them to play along with music and other musicians, and even write songs of their own.

Practicing music should be an enjoyable, creative, enriching experience. Keeping students enthusiastic and motivated whilst continually developing their practical & theoretical skills is priority. And overall, guitar lessons are great fun!
